The Library of the Department of Letters and modern Cultures is part of the Sapienza Library System, whose purpose is to ensure the conservation, development, enhancement and integrated management of the entire bibliographic and documentary heritage of Sapienza, as well as access to online information resources according to the needs of research, teaching and the Administration.
The Department Library is divided into four sections, a historical legacy of the previous structures, namely the Geography Library, the Glottology Library, the Library science Library, the Music History Library.
The department also promotes some qualifying initiatives of its research and teaching activity, namely Biblioteca Italiana, a digital library of representative texts of the Italian cultural and literary tradition; libri&documenti, digital services laboratory of the documentary science library; BIBLIOfaciLETT, introductory course to bibliographic research.
