Library Rules

Methods of provision and use of services

Books taken for consultation must be returned 30 minutes before the end of service hours.
Items left unattended by users can only be retrieved the following day during opening hours.
Library visitors are required to deposit their own identification document, sign the entry register and leave their bags in the cabinets outside.
Books can be requested for consultation by filling in specific forms.
All book requests must be accompanied by the document.
In case of photocopy requests, the user needs to deposit the document at the front office for the whole time.
Loan services are granted according to Library Services Official Regulations of Sapienza University.
Magazines, atlases, series, bibliographies, textbooks, Istat publications, guides, rare books are excluded from loan service.
